4. Generally, the coating has been adjusted to a suitable construction viscosity when it leaves the factory, and it is not necessary to carry out dilution treatment. However, under the condition that the temperature is too high or too low, an appropriate amount of thinner can also be added to achieve the desired coating viscosity. However, the amount of thinner generally should not exceed 5% of the weight of the paint itself, and the matching thinner should be selected according to the product requirements.
5. Before painting, the concrete surface and steel member surface should meet the design requirements and the current relevant national standards. The treated concrete surface and steel member surface should not have dust, cracking, peeling, shelling, orange peel, oily sewage and glitches etc.
6. The number of times of coating and the thickness of the coating shall meet the requirements of Party A, and the total thickness shall not be less than 120 microns.
7. After the basic treatment is completed, the paint should be applied as soon as possible. When applying the paint each time, it should be done after the previous paint is dried. Do not arbitrarily add driers to the paint during the final coat.
8. It takes at least 4-8 hours after the first coating to reach the surface dry, and the second coating should not be applied before the surface is dry.
9. After painting, it is strictly forbidden to rain for 4 hours. If it rains during painting, the steel structure should be enclosed to prevent dust and moisture from sticking to the coating and affecting the adhesion of the coating.
10. The temperature of the coating operation should be between 5-38 °C. When the air humidity is greater than 85%, or there is condensation on the surface of the component, the coating operation is not suitable.
