Cooling tower equipment method requirements
①Apply primer:
After the surface treatment of the cooling tower is qualified, paint the prepared epoxy primer within 6 hours. The primer plays the role of linking the upper and lower parts and has excellent adhesion to the substrate. Before painting the primer, apply cotton yarn dipped in gasoline First, scrub the surface of the cooling tower to remove the sundries and floating dust on the surface of the cooling tower. The primer should be uniform, no flow, no leakage, no pinholes, no bubbles, and the paint film on the surface of the cooling tower should be smooth and consistent in thickness. The thickness of the paint film is 25-35um. The amount of primer is 80-90 g/m2.
The corners and yin and yang corners should be brushed again. When painting, the façade should be painted in a crisscross pattern, first up and then down, first left and then right, first difficult and then easy. After the primer is naturally cured, the surface of the cooling tower is removed from the sundries and floating dust, and the second epoxy coal flake primer can be applied in the same way. The thickness of the second primer is 35-40um, and the dosage is about 100g/m2.
The unevenness, cracks and leaks on the surface of the concrete cooling tower shall be filled and leveled with epoxy putty, and then the second coat of epoxy coal glass flake primer shall be applied.
②Apply the intermediate paint:
After the epoxy primer is naturally cured for 24 hours and basically dried, it is qualified by experience, that is, the ring coal glass flake intermediate paint is painted with the same brushing method. And ensure that there are no pinholes, no flow, no leakage, and the surface of the cooling tower should be flat, uniform, plump, and consistent in luster.
③Apply the top coat:
After the intermediate paint is thoroughly dried and passed the inspection, remove the floating dust on the surface of the cooling tower, and then apply the epoxy coal glass flake topcoat, the dosage is 100~125g/m2, and the thickness of the paint film is 40~50um; after the topcoat is dry , apply the second topcoat in turn with a thickness of 80-100um. The last topcoat is the key process. When painting, you must ensure that the paint is plump, uniform in color, smooth and flat, with a certain luster and a beautiful and consistent appearance. .
